I never really understood the getting all bent out of a shape about it. There are a lot of holidays this month and next, and I even include Thanksgiving in that holiday season. I agree with you-I would definitely not get offended if someone wished me a Happy Kwanza, Hannukah, or even Happy Festivus! ;-) I just love this time of year! Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays... if it makes you better to say that to include everyone, then I'm cool with that too. But I say Merry Christmas, and I won't ever change that. :)Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11801639163897040531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1434047468114822475.post-5197754388084678162015-12-02T09:35:36.595-08:002015-12-02T09:35:36.595-08:00I was at a mall the other day, standing on the sid...I was at a mall the other day, standing on the sidewalk waiting for Chris. An old couple came by, getting ready to cross the drive way to go to the parking lot. The wife stopped, looked right at me and said, "Merry Christmas!" And then her husband quickly joined her. I was so thrilled, I thanked them profusely and said, "And Merry Christmas to you too!"Karen Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15850074575613273163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1434047468114822475.post-65623415130886807522015-12-02T09:24:17.251-08:002015-12-02T09:24:17.251-08:00I will never forget the woman who yelled at me whe...I will never forget the woman who yelled at me when I wished her a Merry Christmas... I was a Target cashier and I had just rung up her order, which was full of Santa wrapping paper, Christmas lights, etc. I feel like it's never meant to be a confrontational thing but if you're buying all the Christmas things and then don't want someone wishing you a Merry Christmas, then I don't even know what to say.

PC-ness confuses me. For us, we will say Merry Christmas and show God's love to everyone around us because to me, that's the true reason for the season.
