Friday Five: Toys, Life Choices and 6 Feet Tall

Did you have a good week?  Mine wasn't too bad, but it is freaking me out that it is May already.  Only a couple more weeks of school for my kids!  Join me today and each Friday for Friday 5- just share 5 thoughts and 5 pictures to recap the week.

5 Thoughts

1. I really hate putting laundry away; I will get most of it, but it seems like there is always something, socks that don't match, clothes that didn't get folded before the kids went to bed... If I could have either a cook or maid- I would pick a maid in a heart beat, especially if they did the laundry and put it all away.

2. Sunday night we went to the Priesthood Preview- I cannot believe that Lucas is going to be 12 this year and receive the Aaronic Priesthood!  Time goes so fast.

3. I took Ryder to ToysRUs the other day to wander around to try and figure out what he wants for his birthday.  He honestly had no idea; after looking around he has quite a few ideas now.

4. Right now things are kind of up in the air, Eric's current project is nearing an end, our rental agreement is coming up on it's renewal date.... times like these I really wish I had a crystal ball.

5.  Did you know I am 6 feet tall and only weigh twenty pounds?  That is what Ryder filled out in his little Mother's Day card about me.  I will miss when my kids are all old enough to not come up with such crazy estimations.
You can see the picture below but the rest says (translated from kindergarten spelling)

What is your Friday 5?

  1. You are REALLY tall and skinny! Haha! Lily gave me a card early and it said I was 16 years old. I'll take it! I love those sweet keepsakes. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

  2. Ryder's answers were so adorable!

Glad you had a good week. I hope you figure out the job/home situation sooner than later because I know how stressful that is!

  3. Aww it's so cute when they answer questions about you! Happy Mother's Day!!!

  4. Girl, you are way too something! I mean six feet and twenty pounds. hah hah. Don't you love how our kids create these amazing stories and notes for us. Keep that one to use against him some day!

  5. I couldn't agree more about laundry. It's a never-ending chore that I always dread.

  6. What an adorable card! A gust of wind may blow you away at 20 lbs, so be careful! Love it!
