Friday Five: In-laws, Quilts and Soccer

Another week has flown by and I just cannot believe how quickly time is going.  Sharing 5 thoughts and 5 pictures to recap the week.

5 Thoughts

1. My kids already have one week of school in the bag.  It is so crazy how fast time goes.  Thankfully they are all liking their teachers and enjoying school so far.

2. This last week my in-laws were here visiting.  My FIL just retired, so is able to come see us more, which makes us all totally happy.  I am so grateful that I have a great relationship with my in-laws.

3. They got to watch Alex play soccer this weekend. We were playing an older team in a scrimmage, and lost, but she definitely got a ton of work at keeper.

4. My kids school is going to go on inclement weather on Monday during the eclipse as they don't want kids out during recess or PE just looking at the sun.  If the teacher has created something like the pinhole thing to look at it they can take their classes out.  I am hoping my kids' teachers do, as how sad to totally miss it.

5. This week while my in-laws were here, my MIL helped Lucas and Alex each make a quilt.  It is so fun to see the projects they do and the pride in the finished product.

    1. Lucas didn't get to see it, but Alex and Ryder did with viewing box things.
