Something I can't stand is whining. Every little kids does it, some worse than others but that does not make it any easier to deal with. I have tried to ensure that Lucas realizes what I mean when I say don't whine, but imitating the whinny voice and pointing out when he is doing it. Today Lucas wanted milk and he wanted it before he ate his snack, he was crying and whining and go on and on.
While all this was going on, Alex pointed out "Lucas crying". At which point, Lucas immediately quite crying and said: "I was not crying, I was whining".
Well I guess he is learning something.
