Really Mess You Up
Saturday we spent a wonderful day at Disneyland. It was my kids first time there. It was a wonderful day or long lines, flying elephants, lots of rides, and Grandpa just about losing his cookies on Space Mountain. Truly though it was a wonderful day and the kids did spectacular! I know I went into this day excited but with some fears as to how being outside and in lines for over twelve hours would work with a two and four-year-old.
It was getting to be about time to go and we decided to try one last ride. The 45 minute wait turned into about 1 hour and 15 minutes, so by the time we were done it was time to go. We decided we didn't want to spend $50 for a few pieces of pizza again so we stopped at Wendy's outside of the park and spent about $16.
By the time all was said and done it was 9:00 P.M. a hour past my kids bed time. But then we ran into a little problem called Day Light Savings Time.
For the last two years we have lived in Arizona who does not participate in day light savings. So while the rest of country was having to turn their clocks forward and backwards I must admit we had a good chuckle about how nice it was not to change.
