California Living

I am finally really taking advantage of the California sunshine and have the freckles to prove it.

Last week on Tuesday we went to the beach. We were supposed to meet up with friends from church, but the beach was so dang crowded that that never happened.

Luckily we drove with the lovely Diana and her daughter so the five of us had fun together.
Diana took this picture (why I am actually in one and not behind the lens)

Thursday we went swimming again! This time at Diana's pond

and look at how brave I was!

Thanks to my cousin-in-law for these pics!

And yes, definitely no water up the nose for me!

And check out this great slide (the slower one of the two)
It was a great week, and we all made it with only a few red spots where sunscreen somehow got missed.

  3. I love the beach, but I hate the water. Crazy, I know. I'm too scare of what lives in there. Ha! How rad to just load the fam and go anytime. Great jump!

  9. Because pond water up the nose is so much more disgusting than pool water. I totally agree.
