It's That Time

Yep, it's August. School has begun... the weather is thinking about getting cooler and I will soon be losing my voice. Why? It's football time!

Yes, I did just mention football. Did you not know that I a HUGE football fan BYU football fan. My love affair has been going on for the past ten years now. I watch all the games, I often listen to many of the team pod casts, which have already started you know. And well I just really like BYU football. If any of my readers went to the school up the hill.. well I will try my best not to offend you over the next several months.
My whole family bleeds blue!

My blogging friend Em is also a big BYU fan. Love this girl, and loved her even more when I saw this post.

I love college football; but I don't really know a thing about professional football. So I am left scratching my head wondering why I joined Henry The Frog's Fantasy Football league. (Check out his blog-yes a Dad blogger) Maybe it is because I know most of his readers are women and that he probably wasn't going to get many to join him, maybe since I liked BYU football so much I figured I might do okay at least, who knows. So I will be putting in my draft choices and then I might remember to check how my players are doing.

But mostly I will be watching my boys in Blue. Go Cougars!

  1. I have always enjoyed watching foot ball ( grew up in Provo) but could do with out fantasy football, I think that my hubby has 3 teams this year, his first draft was last night..... But I LOVE DVR when it comes to him watching his games a 4 hr game can be watched in about a hour, it seams that it takes about 30 sec. between every play.

  5. The closet I ever came to really following football was when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Steve Young played for the 49ers. I went to a special conference where he spoke, as well as a few other players. Didn't get to meet him tho.

  6. Go Cougars! Or whoever...whatever...hahaha My husband loves the Huskers and every year I tell myself I am going to follow it more for his sake and then I don't. I love to go to the game but I don't care so much for watching it on TV. I sure love football snacks, though-wings, chips and dip hmmmmmmmm

  9. I have no loyalty, and probably more importantly, no intrest in football. Horrible I know. When the AZ Cards were in the Superbowl last year we did throw one hecka party, though!

  11. Go Cougars! I'm not a huge football fan (I have my reasons!), but am a true blue cougar fan...and they have my cheers!

My lame husband likes the Utes, so we have quite a family rivalry.

So excited for this season ... sad I won't be up there to go to Lavell Edwards Stadium, but it'll be fun to watch the games anyway.
