Odds and Ends

Did I ever tell you I work really well under pressure, especially when it comes to cleaning. In fact, any given day of the week and well I have to work really hard to motivate myself to clean.. but if company is coming, especially when they are getting there that day (like my in-laws who will be here today), watch me go!

So this morning I will be taking Lucas to his last soccer class and then cleaning like crazy. It should be a great weekend; I am one of those that really like my in-laws, and Eric and Glenn will be building the new room. Alex is excited to have a new room but at the same time will say she does not want the baby to have her room. We are going to to build it now but then give her between now and when the baby is born to make the switch when she is ready so I think she will be okay.

So I probably won't be around the next several days very much. But I will post the last March recipe on Saturday, most of my extended family loved it.. and well it is the first recipe that I really didn't care for, so you will have to try it out and let me know what you think.

Also don't forget on Tuesday to come back and link up with your Ten Things to Smile About Lists.

In case you don't know, at the end of every month I just like to look back and find the good things, the funny things, the positive things to remember. So on Tuesday I will have Mr. Linky up that you can add a link to your list. Some have asked if you need pictures for your list like I have and no not at all! You can simply have a list of ten things or however you would like to write it.

  4. I'm a pressure cleaner too! My house is usually an untidy mess, but when I have someone coming over I get my rear in gear. Mom taught me well- I can't have guests thinking I live like a pig!! I have to hide that truth from them :)

  12. I too have been MIA lately. Life just sneaks up on you sometimes, hu?
I am a pressure cleaner as well. What a relief to know I am not the only one. Sometimes I imagine I meet my blogging friends, and I thought how funny it would be to be meeting you, bu madly dashing around trying to get the place clean. Ha! Have fun with your in-laws, and getting a new room is always so exciting. I am sure Alex will change her mind when she actually meets the baby.
