Thanksgiving, Really??

Is it just me or does tomorrow not feel like Thanksgiving? Heck I have a twenty-three pound turkey defrosting in the fridge but for some reason I can't believe it is Turkey day tomorrow. Don't worry Lourie, Eric does remember so we will get the turkey cooked for everyone. So since tomorrow is Thanksgiving and all about family, I won't be blogging tomorrow and want to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving now.

Also, I would like to take this chance to list just a few of the things I am grateful for.

For my husband who I have been married to for 9 1/2 years now. It has been a wonderful/crazy/eventful time. A husband who always works so hard to take care of our family. A husband who keeps trying and does not give up and wants to be the best person he can be. For a husband who puts up with my messes especially the ever growing laundry pile. And for a husband who supports me in my photography and is the best dad ever.

For my children who drive me crazy, make me laugh and mostly just make me a better person. To hear the stories they invent, the games they play, see the artwork and school work they make and to see their smiles first thing in the morning. To get hugs and kisses and cuddles and to know that they are fast to forgive when I might not always deserve it.

For my opportunity to turn my passion and my hobby into a business this year. At times it has been scary to put myself out there and I am still learning so many things along the way but I love it.

To be able to live close to so much family in a house I love.

For medical science and miracles working together so I can snuggle with my little man who was in such a rush to come to this earth two months early.

For my testimony and my faith of my Savior Jesus Christ whom I can rely fully upon when I feel completely lost and alone and for someone for me to try and follow to help me be a better person.

Again I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. And don't forget, while you are thinking about what you are grateful for to jot down ten things that made you smile this month so you can link up on Tuesday the 30th. For anyone who may not know. Around or on the last Tuesday of every month, I write a list of Ten Things to Smile About from that month, it can be funny things, simple things or just whatever it may be. I like to include pictures in my list, but you definitely do not have to. I will have a linkey up so you can write your list and add the link to your post.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  11. I totally had the same problem you did! It was 84 degrees here the day before Thanksgiving, so I wasn't really feeling like it was the Holiday season, but Thanksgiving day came, and the feeling was in the air!
Now, I can't wait for Christmas!
Hope you had a wonderful day...
