Goats, Pumpkins and Bouncy Things

Yesterday I went with Alex's preschool class to a local Pumpkin Patch...or more like a glorified road side pumpkin stand.

Alex...loved all of the animals in the petting zoo;

Ryder...wasn't quite sure- he would get close but never touch.

Alex...
loved sitting by the pumpkins to get her picture taken;

Ryder...
yea, not so much.

Alex...
loved the bounce house and giant slide;

Ryder...
don't think he really liked it.

So 50/50- not bad odds I guess.
But to Ryder's credit he is getting a cold and slept horribly the night before.

  2. Aww! Look at those tears in that last picture. Poor Ryder. He was miserable, wasn't he??

    Alex looks darling, and you can really see how much taller she is than her peers.

  3. Oh man. Pumpkin patches make me cry too. Paying $15 for a dang pumpkin brings tears to my eyes!

  6. Poor Ryder! Emma has a cold right now too and our weather has cooled off drastically so we've been cooped up at home and I'm about to go insane!

  8. I mean, he must be feeling a bit under the weather if even goats couldn't put a smile on his face- who doesn't like goats?! ;)

    Know what I love about this post- how differently dressed all the kids are! Around here we are beginning to wear sweatshirts, jeans and socks already!!!

  13. I'm coming to find that it's pretty hard for both kids to be happy at the same time. Sigh.
