Proud Mommy Moments: Manners

It's Thursday! Time for Proud Mommy Moments. This is a weekly- every Thursday- meme hosted by Kmama of the Daily Dribbles and myself. This is your chance to brag about your kids and tell us those awesome things they have done or tell us the times that make you oh so "proud"- but hey at least it gives us all a good laugh.

Please, please grab the button for your post to help spread the word about this fun meme. Also, please remember to link up to your specific post and not your blog in general. And as always, remember that PMM are not just for moms!

We all want our kids to be kind, courteous, polite and have good manners. So at dinner when Alex was standing there taking care of an itch I couldn't be more proud. And when I asked her to remove her hands from the back of her pants and she asked why, I told her that was not something you do at the dinner table and it was not polite. Followed by a comment from me that I was so happy I had such polite children.

And how did Alex then respond?

With a burp.

Yep- proud proud mommy.

What is your Proud Mommy Moment this week?

  13. oh kids... sounds like something my son would do... Ryan likes to make farting sounds with his mouth and then Reese starts to do it.. monkey see, monkey do! Luckily Reese is strapped in, so if she saw Ryan pickin his butt, she can't do it too. phew!
