New Year Kid's Interview

I always see those birthday kids questions- and well I usually forget to do them.  I figured I would start a new tradition of New Years Kids Questions- that way every new year I can ask the kids these interview questions.



Lucas: Age 8 and 3 months
 Height: 4' 6 1/2"
 Shoe size: 3 1/2

 What is your Favorite:
  Cereal: cinnamon toast crunch
  Vegetable: cauliflower
  Drink: cherry 7-up
  Toy: 4x4 crawler
  TV Show: How do they do it
  Thing to do: build Legos
  Game: Ticket to ride and Eurorails
  Book: The Little Red Caboose
  Restaurant: Farrells
  Place to go: Knotts berry farm

If you could change your name what would you change it to: "dunno- I like my name"
What is something mommy says: "uh- blah. No, no- go to the bathroom.   Not really go to your room- that's not a good one.  I love you too"
What do you want to be when you grow up: steam train driver
What are you going to do different this year than last: "work- cause do different things at school"
Who are your friends? best friend Kai and Jordan
What is one wish for the New Year? 30 more tehnic sets
If I gave you $100 what would you do with it?  Buy Legos
What are you afraid of? bees 

Alexandria: Age 6 and 1 month
  Height: 4' exactly
  Shoe size: 13 1/2

What is your favorite:
  Cereal: cinnamon toast crunch
  Vegetable: broccoli
  Drink: strawberry lemonade
  Toy: American doll
  TV show: My little pony
  Thing to do: build mini Lego sets
  Game: checkers
  Book: "This is the sun or is it?" (she can read it herself so likes it)
  Restaurant: Fudruckers 
  Place to go: Knotts berry farm

 If you could change your name what would you change it to?  light bulb
 What is something mommy says to you? "bye bye" while laughing
 What do you want to be when you grow up? doctor
 What is something you are going to do different this year than last? make my bed different
Who are your friends? Kilya is my best friend
What is one wish for the new year? that I get lots of Lego girlfriends
If I gave you $100 dollars what would you do with it? share with my friends
What are you afraid of? bees- but mostly hornets

Ryder: Age 2 years 7 1/2 months
  Height: 35 1/2"
  Shoe: Size 8

What is your favorite: 
 Cereal: corn pops
 Vegetable: broccoli
 Drink: water
 Toy: geo- trax-is
 TV show: "my show"  then with prompting from his siblings "Dora"
 Thing to do: play with drum and GeoTrax
 Game: knocking down bowling pins
 Book: my book
 Restaurant: go outside
 Place to go: go to restaurant

If you could change your name what would you change it to? "bat-R"
What is something Mommy says to you? I don't do that
What do you want to be when you grow up: "thing that blasts off" (his sister said it so he repeated
What is something you will do different this year than last: "inside a rocket"
Who are your friends: at the park
What is your wish for next year: (never said anything just said ummmm)
If I gave you $100 what would you do with it?  "you give me $100? I put these in the tunnel"
What are you afraid of?  "no I not scared of monsters. I scared dark"

    So, Alex is basically the same size as Jack, but she has bigger feet. And Jack is 8 years 4 months old. LOL

  3. What a great idea to keep track of their favorites when they were little. Watch them change as they grow. Should be interesting to do this interview on every one of their birthdays. Happy Monday.

    I love that Alex would change her name to Light bulb..so cute!

  9. Love these kinds of questions & answers with kids... I started one with Ryan last week and I got through maybe 2 questions and he'd say- ARE WE DONE YET!?!? Impatience... goodness.

  14. Light Bulb has got to be the best answer. Well Ryder's go without saying. HAHA! I am going to pin this and catch my kids off guard as I was told I do not take enough pictures of them (by my oldest) so this will go nicely with pictures, yes?
