Happy..... Birthday

So I bet most people today are saying 'Happy Thanksgiving' and yes I am saying that; but today in our house we are also saying 'happy birthday'.  For the first time in her life, this little red-heads birthday is actually on Thanksgiving.

Alex lives life to the fullest, go big or go home with her.   She has two volumes loud and louder, just ask her she doesn't need a microphone, she had one built in.

Yet, surprisingly at school she actually seems a little more calm and quiet and is a great student.  She especially loves double facts in math.

She loves playing soccer and is about to start basketball; she also loves dressing up like a princess and has learned the skill of batting her eyelashes (no idea where she picked that up).

She definitely can be stubborn and definitely shows a flare for drama.   She is a leader, a great sister, and loves to cook.

Alex with her cousin, those two have so much fun together
She is my girl and often she baffles me with the things she does, but I will always love her.

I was looking through old blog posts and remembered that I had asked her a bunch of questions on her birthday.  Even though she had just gone to bed, I hurried up to her room before she was asleep and asked her the questions again.

Her answers this year are written first, with last years answers second and blue.

    1. Thanks! It was fun to compare. It was actually the night before her birthday, she had just gone to bed and I was flipping through old posts to see what I did for her birthday last year and remembered so ran up and asked her the questions :)

  5. Happy birthday pretty girl! I love your questions, and that you can look back on last years answers. She definitely changed her mind for some! I love that she can one day look back on these questions and get s huge kick out of it. I must may steal these questions for when Wyatt is old enough to answer them! :-) love that her birthday was actually on a holiday. Most kids dream of that (except when it's Christmas!)
