1.  This week was Alex's last basketball practice and the beginning of soccer practice; on Wednesday she had both.   We didn't get much of a break.  We will be at the soccer field three days a week for practice between Lucas and Alex, thankfully so far both of their coaches seem awesome. Though I need to figure out dinner better with our new schedule, hit the drive through too many times this week.

2. This weekend I am putting together all of the final touches for my bedroom!!  It will be reveled next week!  So excited!

3.  I love how typos on the phone can become pretty funny in the end, this conversation between Eric and me got me laughing

4. I recently wrote about taking my kids to the dentist, writing about the dentist again as I went myself yesterday.  So far I have loved my new dentist.. but now I just don't know.  I have no pain, nothing bothering me, but supposedly have a cavity forming under an old filling, so he wants to crown it.. and the tooth next to it has a cavity forming to and they are close and so let's do two crowns, plus two teeth around them have little cavities so fill those while at it.  The hygienists, who I love saw the x-rays first and did say something about ONE tooth, but now supposedly four!   Now I am thinking I want to get a second opinion but I hate confrontation and I hate this whole thing.  I guess I do hate the dentist.

5. I think I may have set my Good-reads goal for how many books I want to read too low, I set it at 30 books for the year, I am already 40% of the way there.

Do you have a dentist you totally trust?

  1. Cute pictures! I love the last one!
I really think you should get a second opinion. My husband was scammed by a dentist before. Good luck!
The text made me laugh. I have the worst luck with autocorrect when I text people!

    1. Thank you! He was totally asleep and she wanted to hold him while he was sleeping for some reason

  3. I love my dentist - and his daughter who also treats me now. (She works in the afternoons, and I was going later back when Lucas was born, so I saw her a few times.) I trust them both immensely. I've been going to him since 1987 and I recommend him to everyone I know.

I love that last photo of your kids. :)

    1. Yea, I had been going to mine for over a year now and had really liked him up to this point, the last appointment he started to bring up about some teeth needing to maybe be crowned some day… I am starting to think he does great at first then when you like him starts trying to upsell things not needed

  4. I've kind of had a bad run with dentists so definitely don't have one I trust but it never hurts to get a 2nd opinion. Why go through the pain if you don't have too! We're starting soccer season again here too. Emma's doesn't play anymore but when she and Ringo were both playing it felt like all I did was drive around! Love the pics this week! The one of Alex in the dress is adorable especially.

    1. Yes that was her fancy outfit she put together. It is definitely a lot of run around when you have kids in sports

  7. Crockpot. It's the only way to survive kid's sports without eating out all the time. I LOVE your little princess. So classic and the last one melts my heart. I hate the dentist too and my dentist recently told me the same thing about a couple of my teeth. I have yet to get them fixed though.

  8. I'd get a second opinion on the dentist. I've just heard of too many finding things that aren't there. Of course I'm a dental skeptic anyway;)

    1. Yes, that definitely happened to my SIL. It seemed like he was great at first but now that I have been going there for a little while is suddenly pushing lots of extra things

  9. That seems a little fast to get all that done if it is not actually issue yet? I would get a second opinion.
