1. Finally got curtains for my bedroom, plus I actually have a plan for how I want to finish everything up, so excited to hopefully sometime soon be able to show you my bedroom reveal!

2. Eric and I have been watching the Olympics every night.  This last week during the couples figure skating program, the Canadian couple Duhamel & Radford came onto the ice and I immediately thought, wow he is tall and Eric thought, wow she is short.  Coming in at 6'2" and 4'11" they are 15 inches different... the same height difference as Eric and I, we are just a lot taller at 6'8" and 5'5".   The funny thing, I don't really feel like Eric is that much taller than me, but as I watched them and totally noticed the height difference I thought, wow that is what people must think when they see me and Eric!
Picture From here   (oh and this doesn't count at one of my 5 just had to show this)
3.  I didn't do a thing yesterday other than read... I love getting caught in a good book, but it really is so bad too.  I will be playing major catch-up on everything today.

4. We had the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet this week, this was the first time in a couple of years I was not in charge of it, kind of nice but felt weird to not be too.  The boys performed for the entertainment and Lucas did a magic trick, he was awesome!  He made a stuffed dog disappear.  He even knocked on the table he placed the dog on to show it was solid.  Then he was talking and  moving his arms in a distracting way, it was awesome!

5. I finally put up Valentines day decorations two days ago.. I wasn't even going to bother but Ryder kept asking about it.   I threw up a couple of garlands of hearts and he was happy so we called that good.... but I will be setting our table all fancy for our Fancy Family Valentine Dinner tonight.

  9. I am loving the Olympics - especially the skiing and speed skating but the coverage has not been that great in my opinion. You are so good for putting up Valentine's decorations! I did nothing but cook a nice dinner. But I got a thumbs up from everyone even the kids, so that was a bonus!

    1. It was Chasers Alone by James Phelan, it is a teen/ YA Dystopian novel but it definitely sucked me in, gave me some weird dreams one night too
