Old School Blogging- I Am

Who am I?  I am answering this question and more as part of Old School Blogging with Elaine and this month's co-host Angela of Jumping With My Fingers Crossed.

This month they gave a list of words (the bold ones) you fill in the rest.

I am... content. Life isn't perfect, but it really is pretty good right now.
I wonder... who will win American Idol tomorrow tonight. Did you hear next year is the last year of the show?
I husband putting the kids to bed.  I already said goodnight then came down to write this post.
I see... little messes everywhere, signs of family, signs of life, signs that life is good.
I want... to have a successful shopping trip tomorrow! Going to spend the gift card I got for Mother's Day.
I am... happy.

I pretend... that the mess will just clean itself.
I feel... like I really want a chocolate right now!
I touch.. the keys on the keyboard as I type this post.  I love having a laptop, will forever want one.
I worry...about my youngest and the cough he has right now, he can't be sick for his birthday!
I cry... a little too easily sometimes, especially sweet tender moments.
I am... a mother.

I understand... who I really am, where I came from and what the purpose of this life is.
I say... "well good" way too often.  It is my overly used catch phrase.
I dream... of finishing the book I am writing, getting it published and it maybe even being made into a movie someday!
I try... to be a good person, good mother and good friend.
I hope... that my kids will grow up healthy, happy, and with strong testimonies of Jesus Christ.
I am...a child of God.

Who are you?  Play along with Old School Blogging.  Elaine's post will go live Wednesday evening.

  1. I think it's funny you mentioned your laptop. I still have a DESKTOP! :) I like having a huge screen to edit photos on, plus it doubles as our TV occasionally, so I suppose we'll always have one.

I'm looking forward to reading your book when you're done with it!

  2. I have the same feelings about chocolate and my laptop!
Love the family picture, you look great!
Hope your boy is feeling better.

  3. Cute post. Very fun to read. Makes me miss you! Hope Ryder is well tomorrow!! Can't believe he'll be 5!!

  4. Love this! Especially love and relate to this "I see... little messes everywhere, signs of family, signs of life, signs that life is good." Good stuff. Thanks for linking up.

  5. I read this and TOTALLY thought I commented but I did not!

I really like the way you did this and the photos are wonderful. This really tells a lot about you in not that many words. Which I love about it.

  6. What a beautiful family! I love reading these posts and getting a glimpse into everyone's lives. I hope that you did have a successful shopping trip and that your boy is feeling better!

  7. I often hope that the little messes will clean themselves. It never happens though. But often I look around and think "We live here. We play here." and that makes me feel better about the mess. I also often want chocolate.

  8. Hope you little one is feeling better! I love the pics of your family!

  9. If only the messes would clean themselves up! Love that you started off on such a positive note, too and glad to meet you through #OSBlogging!

  10. Your "I see" same here where do all those little messes come from!
