5 Thoughts
1. What is your summer like? Do you like to jam pack it with activities or do you go totally lazy? Some summers we tend to be more towards the lazy side. This summer I think we have had a pretty good mix of going/doing and lazy days.
2. For one of our going days this week we checked out the Natural History Museum in LA. My kids favorite part was actually the rocks and gems area. Probably a lot because it is one of Lucas' interests and he is quite the knowledgeable guide.
3. We thought we left at a good time to avoid traffic, but one accident and well LA always has traffic and it took a while to get there and home. I like going on outings as I definitely feel like a good mom on days we do.
4. Next week soccer starts back up. It really has been nice taking a break from it. Alex loves it though, so I will continue to go to many many practices and trainings and games with her.
5. We had a beach day this week too, we might go again tomorrow and are going next week with my older sister. We are definitely going to the beach a ton more than we did last summer. It has been so crazy hot though this summer, so the beach has been perfect.
