The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

It is that time, the time for football bowl games.... which for BYU was unfortunately very sad. (My husband is in mourning now that football season is over. He can hardly wait until next year.) The time for parties, the time for one thing on top of another... but most importantly it is a time to celebrate the Savior's birth.
I must admit I am half dreading Christmas. And no, it is not because I do not have my shopping done, I do things just aren't wrapped yet. And no it is not because I don't want to spend time with lots of crazy relatives (we are mostly going to be by ourselves--we will just have Christmas dinner with my Sister and her family who we all love)...
It is because as soon as it comes than it will be over. The anticipation, the excitement, hanging up another ornament on the advent calendar, all of the Christmas decorations will be gone. I always hate taking down my Christmas stuff, it just seems so bare... and will be especially bare this year since we don't even have any of our regular pictures hung yet.
Time will keep moving on, we will get our pictures hung, we will get everything unpacked... then I will be able to start my Christmas shopping for next year!

(Oh wait--only my mother-in-law does that!)
