Why does it take?

Why does it take tragedy for us to remember?

Why does it take something bad to make us pause?

Why does it take sorry and pain and hurt?

Why don't we realize how blessed we are
and what a wonderful country we have ALL of the time.

Eight Years Ago We lived a tragedy

Eight Years Ago I remember sitting there thinking
this can't be real

But it was

And it is

I'm flying my Flag Today

I'll Always Remember

And here is a survivors story

  2. Whenever I see a movie that is pre 9/11 it is just weird to see the towers there. It's a day that is etched into our brains and hearts forever.

  3. Great video, but I didn't want to see nor hear Bush. No offense to those who like the old president, I just don't care for him.

  5. Lovely. Really. It's been really interesting to move close to NYC post-9/11. I think people are still nicer, more willing to help, and a lot more prepared for anything now. Sad that it has to be that way.

  7. I can't believe it's been 8 years. My daughter was only 3 at the time now she's a pre-teen. She doesn't even remember it.

  8. This is truly one of these days that people of our generation (and hopefully our childrens) will always remember. I can't imagine ever forgetting what that day was like as long as a I love. And you are right ... count your blessings every day.
