You Know Your a Mom When

My friend CJ from Simply Simonsons wrote a post about You Know Your a Mom When, and she was interested in what I would come up with. So I decided I too would join up with Arizona Momma for her

I had one post totally written.. but then after seeing Arizona's mom's post decided to go a different route this week.

So you know you are a mom when...

You find this...

and this

the most beautiful sight in the world as it means both kids are napping!!

But then you have to stop and wonder what in the world you are going to do with all of your new free time.
---------------------------------------------------------
Next week, I might have to post my other list I was working on.

Also don't forget to have your Ten Things to Smile About lists ready for
Tuesday the 27th!
(I know I called Tuesday the 25th in a previous post... my calendar was on the wrong month, opps!)

  1. Oh, naptime! I remember those days. :) Cute pics. I'll have to get my list ready for next Tuesday. Cool idea!

  2. Naptime is the most glorious time of the day. It is tricky to get them all to sleep at the same time though! The pictures are so cute!

  3. SO TRUE!!! There's no better feeling in the world than to know that you can actually have an hour or two of complete solitude. It's times like that that even chores don't seem so daunting.

  4. Sadly, naptime doesn't mean "free time" for me anymore. My 3 year old desperately needs her nap still, but won't rest unless I lay with her. I do have to time hers and my 20 month old's perfectly, so at least there is some quiet for a little while ;)

Thank you so much for joining in!

  5. When nap time happens here I have a big debate with my self, sleep, clean or do NOTHING? It all depends on the day.

  6. Oh so sweet! I love nap time. That is my get-everything-done-while-the-kids-are-not-underfoot time. A little slice of heaven.

  7. How on earth did you manage that????? My two year old is trying to give up naps and I am sad. Very, very sad.

  8. Oh, isn't that the stuff us moms dream of! Good job getting a shot off without waking them up!

  9. I love nap time! Today my youngest slept for 3 1/2 hours! It was lovely, I got all kinds of stuff done. She has been sick from allergies so night time sleep hasnt been the best.

  10. I loved this. Mostly because the majority of my "you know your a mom" lists consist of things like "you can wipe a booger off a child with your bare hands and not gag."

This was a much happier twist.

  11. Naps are a beautiful thing. Not to mention the simple fact, that they are like angels when they sleep.

I totally did not even catch the calendar mistake. And mine is on the RIGHT month. Haha.

  17. I love this post...and I agree. But don't they just look like little angels when they're asleep? and then that makes me feel all guilty.

  18. I love these pictures! Nap time is indeed sacred time but what the heck do you do during it? It's not like you can vacuum or anything! You kids are precious and I love the tractors and trucks!

  19. I loved nap time when my kids were small. I usually just took time to relax-and I never felt guilty about doing that!

The first time I really felt like a mom was when I made Rice Krispie Treats. For some reason I just relate those with being a mom.

  20. What to do with all the free time.
    Hmmmmmm.
So much to do and I usually end up taking a nap too!
