Rocket Science

Some things in life are hard to figure out. I have no idea how to change or fix the radiator in a car. My husband does though. He had to plug up the hole in his radiator that came when his engine dropped out while I was driving the car--but that is a story for another day.

My husband would probably have a hard time sewing a dress and heck so would I. My mother-in-law, well she could probably do it in her sleep.

But this next thing... this next thing according to the instructions must be pretty difficult for all of us.

And I quote: "A person who has not read and understood all operating and safety instructions is not qualified to operate this appliance. All users of this appliance must read and understand this Owner's Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance."

Wow, this must be some serious piece of equipment. Makes me wonder what kind of injuries it could produce if you operate it incorrectly with warnings like that.

So are you dying to know what appliance it is talking about?

Are you sure you are ready for this?

Yes-The Evil Dangerous Toaster!! No, I am not making this up. It is too bizarre to be made up, that was the number one very first thing in the instructions for my new toaster.

How did I know that? Well I was reading the instructions of course.

I can make toast, can you?

  3. You shouldn't clean it while using it. Does your manual say that, too? Mine does :) So glad someone's looking out for us!

  4. I laughed so hard at this, only because we have no idea how to properly work our toaster! We got it for our wedding and the instructions were missing. LOL And seriously, it has weird buttons and things that I'm sure make it an awesome toaster, but since we don't know how to use those functions, we burn toast a lot. ;-)

  5. My blow dryer says I'm not supposed to use it while sleeping.

So, thanks for that, blow dryer.
