It Was the Balloon's Fault

It began with something like this{image source}

plus this{image source}

which resulted in this
which made mommy have to do this

which of course resulted in this
marker and red blotchy face from crying-
not a winning combination

How was your weekend?

  2. The red face from crying is a familiar site at our house.

  6. Oh, look at that sad little face! We have a balloon ban on our house just b/c they drive me nuts the way my kids play with them!

  7. That is the saddest face I have seen in a long time, and I see a lot of sad faces. Those splotches are serious!

    Never underestimate the drama that can result from having a balloon in your house. We've had more instances than I can count.

  8. I am not a big fan of balloons to start with.

    Our weekend was uneventful. No balloons were involved.

  12. Well hello stranger. :)

    Oh my goodness, that sad face is so sad. I am surprised that she let you take her picture. LOL!

  15. Poor baby :-( Mommy always messes up the fun. LOL

    We don't do balloons. They are the most annoying things ever when kids are involved.

    Our weekend was far from a weekend. Charlie is still doing training so he was working, meaning it felt like a Monday and Tuesday around her. Blah. No major "incidents" thought so that is a plus!

  17. Oh poor baby. I know, balloons are fun for a little while, then they either pop or loose their helium and just lay around. What a sad pic :-(

  19. Even this will pass. I think that's why they are called kids. I love you Miss Alex. I hope it didn't get on much of anything else.
