Old School Blogging- Blogs I Love

Today I am linking up with Elaine of the Miss- Elanious Life and Sellabit Mum for some old school blogging, rather appropriate since I was talking about blogging just yesterday.

This month they are asking us to share some blogs we love.  Now I must admit this was hard.  I read a lot of blogs and I love a lot of blogs so if I did not mention yours please please to not feel bad as I had to stick with 5.

1. Shell's Things I Can't Say
When I began blogging I had no idea there really was a "blogging world" but as my blog very slowly began to grow I started to discover more and more blogs out there.  I remember coming across Shell's blog, no idea how I got there and was floored at how many followers she had.   I commented on her post and she replied to my comment and even came back to my blog and commented, I was in heaven!  I love Shell as even though she is a bigger blogger she is still so approachable and reaches out to everyone.

I "met" Sarah back when she blogged under another name.  I loved how real and honest she seemed.  I loved how she remodeled her last home and just really liked Sarah.  Even though we grew up in different lives she just feels like someone I could be great friends with.  Now she has relocated to England!  She and her family are living abroad and she is sharing all of her new adventures.  Her pictures are beautiful, her posts are fun to read and if I ever make it to England I am serioulsy using her blog as my travel guide!

Rachel's blog is still a very small and a personal blog as that is how she wants it.  Not only is she is my sister-in-law but it was the fact that she was blogging that got me started on this whole journey.  I did not even know what blogging was before her.  I admire that she was able to keep her blog just how she wants it and her kids are adorable, and yes I am bias.

This is another "smaller blog" but I love Amy. I have actually met her in real life and she is just as wonderful in person.  What I love most about her blog is how magical she makes everything.  No, she isn't one of those with the perfect pinnable life and house, she finds the magic and beauty in the simplest things, even in some of the bad moments.  Her writing is almost poetic.  She makes me realize I need to slow down and just enjoy the magic of childhood with my kids.

I don't remember when I discovered Natalie's blog, but I immediately was drawn to it with it's bright clean look.  I quickly loved hearing about Natalie's journey into motherhood.  Her posts are always short and simple and to the point but something I always enjoy reading.  I really wish I didn't live on the other side of the country as I think we could be good friends.

There are so many other blogs I could have shared, so many that make me laugh, so many friends out there whom I adore and love.  These five are all very special to me for different reasons and I highly recommend you check out all their blogs!

  8. Oh goodness, I am blushing. You are too sweet! Thank you for the wonderful things you said. You are the best! I have to admit, I am often surprised at the deep friendships made through blogging, sometimes with people you will never meet IRL. What a blessing it is, hu?
