1. Alex scored her first basket in a game!  She has attempted a few during the past games but finally scored this week. I was a proud mama, and they are still undefeated.

2. My bedroom makeover is slowly coming together.  I have my nightstands done, finally bought some curtains, now just need to redo a book shelf, buy some new clocks, move around some furniture... oh and put all the clean laundry away (hate that part the most).

3. I am actually pretty excited to see the Lego movie tomorrow; Lucas is beyond excited and has a countdown to the day.

4. It finally feels like winter here!  Cloudy, rainy and in the 60's-- but hey it does get into the low 40's at night!

5. Being a band and drama geek in high school, who the athletes probably wouldn't even look twice my way, I secretly get a total thrill from being married to an athlete who is the star of his basketball team.  Hearing the guys from the other team tell my kids that my husband is their hero is just a total ego trip.

  1. That picture through the rainy window is gorgeous!!

I know what you mean about being married to a great athlete. Cory played soccer in college and was captain of his team in high school. Me...I barely made it through gym class...

    1. Thank you! I purposely left the wipers off for a minute so I could make sure to get lots of drops on the window as it wasn’t raining that hard at the time. I wasn’t a bad athlete just nothing to write home about
