This week I am happy to introduce you to a co-host who you may already know as she has helped me with the Review Extravaganza the last two years, Nicole of Life's a Beach.  Nicole is expecting her first baby, a little girl this year and I am so excited for her!  She is nervous about becoming a mom but she's already an awesome step-mom and I have no doubt she will be a great mom too.

You can find Nicole at her blog here, on twitter, Facebook and pinterest

Here are the questions I asked Nicole

1. How long have your been blogging? I've been blogging since October 19, 2009 :)

2.  What is your favorite holiday? I would actually say a time frame, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just love the spirit in the air at that time of year.

3.  If you were given $1 million dollars tomorrow what would you do with it? I would LOVE to say that I'd blow it on something super fun, but truth of the matter is, I'd pay off bills and then I'd invest the rest in my future. I might sneak in a vacation just because, but otherwise I'd do something realistic with it.

4.  Why do you blog? What do you like about it? I sometimes wonder this myself. ha! I love blogging, it's like a scrapbook of my life when I can't find the time to scrapbook. I get to meet extremely awesome people (such as Emmy!!) and form relationships with people I'd never have met otherwise. I get the opportunity to write which is something I love to do.

5. What is your favorite book(s)? I love the author Janet Evanovich. She writes the Stephanie Plum series which I think is one of my favorites. I got a little behind (I'm on like book 14 or 15) and school (working on my Master's right now) isn't allowing me much spare time to get caught up, but don't worry, I will!

Now for my Friday 5

5 Thoughts

1. This has been the most wonderfully lazy SPRING break in a long time, sleeping in until 7:30 or 8 (yes that is late I am a mom after all), playing lots of Plants vs. Zombies, reading books...  But we have done one fun thing every day.  Monday we did a pot of gold hunt with our friends at the park, Tuesday was swimming at a friends house (yes warm enough here to swim), Wednesday library and seeing the fish at the Bass Pro Shop, Thursday park and McDonalds for lunch.. and today.. well today I am packing to go to Time Out For Women!

2. Speaking of me going away this weekend, I think this may be my first solo night away since having kids.. yep 9 1/2 years.  I have had lots of girls days, just no over nighter's-- this is long overdue and since it is SPRING break, Eric doesn't even have to worry about school pickup.

3. My kids' SPRING break is a week earlier than my bestie CA Girl's kids break, so since we wouldn't be able to get together over break, we went to her house to hang out Sunday afternoon.  Our kids had fun playing, her oldest daughter curled Alex's hair, the boys played Minecraft and I just missed living close to her.

4. This weekend was my kids first SPRING soccer game.  This is the first year Alex is in a division with goalies and she played goalie the whole first half of the game and no one scored on her!  Lucas' played his favorite defensive position and did awesome, in fact I think it may have been his best game ever.  He also is in a higher division with a bigger field and goal and three refs.

5. Eric's job is crazy busy right now, he usually leaves to work about 6:00 AM and gets home anywhere from 6:30-9:30.  Luckily this week during SPRING break, he has actually been able to get home a bit earlier.  One night we were all shooting hoops outside, after I took several shots I started actually hitting some, to which Eric said "you are getting better all ready, you looked really awkward at first."  Honesty-ouch.  I've never claimed to be much of an athlete.

**Look I got the word SPRING in every one of my thing this week!

    1. Yep we do and the bushes we have in our back yard are so crazy as they will bloom with red roses for example, be there for a month or two, die off then a month later come back pink or white or even yellow… they do that all year long.

  7. Awe, I had spring break this week to so I was off enjoying it a lot with you guys, although not with you... lol :). So cool that the kiddos got to do things every day this week and that Eric actually got to be home and enjoy some with you. At least with him getting home later, he gets to come home to more daylight, right :). So cool that they are having soccer games already!! I feel bad, the week that I co-host with you, the least amount of people link up... ha! I'm bad luck I guess.. lol.

    1. Do not feel bad at all— I really think we had the least people link up as I did not visit anyone’s blogs last week so people probably just forgot… spring break definitely got to me :)
