Beach Day

The weather was hot..

the skies were clear...

the waves were huge!

I took the boogie board out and I think I got tossed around more than I ever have in my life.

I would catch a wave and then it would abruptly come crashing down right on top of me.  It was actually kind of scary at times and didn't really make me ever want to surf.

I really need to take a selfie before I get thrashed around by the waves- yikes my hair!

The kids played in the sand.
Built some castles.

and took a lot of sand home in all sorts of places.

Gotta love the beach.

The car ride home
