Old School Blogging: Randomness

It is time for some Old School Blogging hosted by Elaine of the Miss-Elaine-ous Life.  This month her co-host is Julie from Wine to Mom.  Join in the fun!

If you could be on a reality show which one would you choose?  My first thought is American Idol- but well I can't sing that well and I am too old.  I think it would be fun to be on Wipeout or even Fear Factor (is that even on anymore?).  I once even looked into the application for Fear Factor but never did it in the end.

Name one thing you have saved from your childhood.  My blankie- still have it, big huge hole in the middle and all.

If you life had a theme song what would it be? I honestly have no idea on this one.  I really am not a huge music person and always forget the words to songs anyways (ask anyone that knows me well).  So yeah, sorry nothing.  Obviously Idol would not be my thing.

Where is your happy place?  At home, sitting on my couch wrapped up in a blanket reading a book.  I could be so content doing that a lot more than I do.

What is one thing about your home that you and your spouse disagree on?  The laundry--where I put it or should say don't put it way too many times when it is done.
It has been a particularly bad laundry week with Ryder being sick-keeping it real
What is your favorite fruit?  Watermelon- I could eat that anytime.  It's really good with a little feta cheese sprinkled on it too.

Bowtie or regular tie?  Regular tie

Mexican or Italian (food not men)?  That is tough as I will always go back to Italian as my comfort food, but if I am going out to eat I think I would pick Mexican more often than Italian, especially living in SoCal we have some good Mexican food.

Where do you want to go on summer vacation?  I want to go to Hawaii or Europe.  One of those may never happen, the other we are planning on in about 5 years when Ryder is old enough to do everything we want to while there.

What are your go-to shoes in your closet?  My black and white slip ons- mostly because they are slip ons and easy to put on.  If I am actually going out though and not just throwing on shoes, it would be one of the pairs of my boots.

How would you answer?  I am particularly interested in what your song would be, as I bet I will love all of your choices and wonder why I didn't think of that.

  1. You should visit copilot mom (Kim's blog) for her answers because she links to a Buzzfeed quiz where you can FIND OUT your theme song by answering some questions! :D Mine came out to be "Baby Got Back", seriously.

I just adore that you still have your blankie...

    1. Oh will have to do that! I wonder what it will say. Yes I should have taken a picture of it, but I was finishing up my post last minute right before bed. Started it right after you sent the questions but forgot to finish it.. crazy life.

    1. Yeah, I would have to really hope for a non-eating episode. Or one where you could rely on your partner to eat things. Otherwise I think I could do it.. well maybe 10 years ago more I thought I could do it… not really so sure now.

    1. Yeah, not sure if Fear Factor is on any more. Think lots of crazy stunts/acts all of which could be pretty terrifying. Almost every episode makes them eat something super gross, live bug type things.

    1. Yeah, I think I am brave but really would probably have a really hard time with the eating part. But some of the episodes don't have eating, so if I got one of those I think I could do it.

  6. Fear Factor!! I loved that show!! I'd never ever make it past the eating round. There is no way I could stomach that!! Or any sort of spider challenge.
I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and I want to go back so badly. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on. It is so lovely there. Expensive but worth it.

  7. The laundry! Oh, man! I should have picked that one. For some reason my husband doesn't like that I never fold it and let it pile up to a mountain on our bed? What's his problem? I cannot believe Fear Factor. You are brave!
