Kids Books

For anyone who loves flowers, you will love this week's book. This week's book is Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert. Not only does this book teach about all different types of flowers and even how to grow them but it teaches colors along the way.

The book begins: "Every year mom and I plant a rainbow." This book just begs for you and your child(ren) to go out and plant something. There are many great activities that you can do along with this book; one idea can be found here.

Lucas loved this book when he was two and it has recently become Alex's favorite. Lucas still enjoys it and now he wants me to tell him the names of all of the flowers (don't worry, it lists them so you don't have to be a flower genius).

So for a cute and educational book check out Planting Rainbow.
