eShakti Dress Review

These days, being 30 weeks pregnant, I have less and less to wear. Even maternity shirts that once fit me end half way over my belly. So when I was contacted by Jennifer from eShakti.com and asked if I would like to pick a dress to review I was more than happy to say yes.

When I went to their site I ran into a problem, there were so many cute dresses to choose from! The number of dresses I liked and wanted was doubled because of the fact that for only $15 per garment you can get pretty much any alteration you want. You can have sleeves added, change the neckline, change the length, even tell them your exact measurements! I am 5'5" with short legs and a long torso so I often have a hard time finding things that fit just right, so I was so excited.

I took me three days to decide which dress I wanted. There were two that I really wanted, but in the end I choose the dress that I thought I would be able to wear now and after the baby was born.

I bought the Floral Print Peasant Dress. It fit perfectly! I ended up ordering it as is without any changes and it was just right. I was impressed that there is even a lining under the skirt part. I loved the colors of the dress and just the overall look and feel. I have had dresses with cap sleeves before and sometimes they pinch or hurt my arms, but they did not with this dress. The mid-section where it gathers did bunch up a little extra sometimes, but I am pretty sure this is just because of my baby-bump and I don't think it will do this when I wear it post baby.

So now I think I am going to have to go back to their site and buy the other dress I wanted for myself for a post baby present.

(Disclaimer-I received this dress for free from eShakti to review, but all opinions expressed are my own and true.)

  19. I really should have commented on the Story Telling post, because as a First Grade teacher, that is more my thing (and the fact that I am not really into dresses all that much, even though I am sure this is a fine dress.)

Happy to be a new follower. Thanks for following me. I am surprised you did as I am a HUGE Utah fan. Like the biggest. But I have lots of Cougar friends and we generally get along.

  21. I loved wearing dresses at the end of my pregnancies. That is so cute and you could dress it up or down. I could see you slipping on some flip flops and wearing it casual or even with heels for a wedding or night out.
