The Daily Dribbles

OOPS..

The day the carpet turned red...

I was busy typing away on my computer.

I had a fresh glass of cranberry juice by my feet.

When all of a sudden my little side kick says, "I want to do my painting"

I with out a doubt swing my legs over and place my laptop on the table when I hear a crash.

I look down to see my fresh glass of cranberry juice tipped over and grab my computer.

Dash to the kitchen for a towel.

As I start to cleaning the floor.

I my carpet is turning red.

I was down on my knees patting and cleaning..

At least the carpet is already a mess.

A little red does not hurt does it?

  1. Wet the carpet again and pour some table salt on it. It might pull the stain out! It's at least worth a try.

Oh, and I totally spilled some red Kool-Aid on my sheets the other night. OOPS!

  6. My carpet is dark forest green. Punch, apple juice, and much more has been spilled on it. I hope yours was a darker color. But probably not from the sounds of it. :( Sorry. This is an interesting meme. Fun too.

  12. Uh, no comment. I am sorta known for these types of things. Which is actually good, because it surprises no one when I do them.

  13. My littlest just smashed red lip gloss into the white carpet of the house we're renting. High traffic carpet cleaner and Mr. Clean Magic eraser combined with enough elbow grease to make might knuckles bleed did the trick. Good luck.
