What to Expect Book Giveaway

Almost nine months- that is how long it took for me to get pregnant once we started trying for our first. When that day finally came we were so excited, even jumping on the bed in celebration.   Then the morning sickness came-- thankfully very minimal which was okay if I just ate a few crackers before getting out of bed.   As I watched my body change and grow I was so excited and also so clueless about what all was happening.

Halfway through my pregnancy we moved to a different state, which in-turn led to my early retirement from my job as a foster care worker for the state (which I was not too sad about).  I was now in a new town, over 20 weeks pregnant with no job and not much to do.  Looking back I realized I didn't enjoy this time nearly as much as I should.

With my free time I had lots of time to read and wonder about my new forming baby.  One of my favorite things to read was What to Expect When you are Expecting.  I loved seeing how big my baby was, what things were developing, it fascinated me.  I remember reading about heart burn too and learned some great tips which made it worlds better.  I was so grateful for that book.

So then when someone gave me What to Expect the First Year at my baby shower; I knew I would like it too.  I used it a lot-- but more of a jumping off point and as a guidance then the end all be all as every kid is different and every parent is different.  But it definitely was nice having a basic idea of what may be going on.

Today I have a nice surprise.  The people from the What to Expect website are offering one of my readers a chance to win not one, but three What to Expect Books

What to Expect While You're Expecting
What to Expect the First Year
What To Expect the Second Year

Even if you aren't pregnant and have a little one this is a great giveaway as you will love the second two books and can always save the first to give as a present to a friend, or can gift all three if you are past these stages like me.

For simplicity, I will be using the rafflecopter for entries-- but all you have to do is leave a blog comment and select that option on the rafflecopter form to enter, the rest are just bonus entries.

The winner will be annoucned on Tuesday, September 11th.  Good luck!

Disclaimer: I was provided three of the What to Expect books to review and the prize to my reader is also being provided.  All opinions and feelings were true and my own.
