Courting Carrie in Wonderland

If you love being transported in time with a good clean story and some romance, then I highly recommend Courting Carrie in Wonderland by Carla Kelly, read my full review below.

The Book:
Struggling through college and balancing her summer job in Yellowstone Park with the Wylie Camping Company, Carrie McKay simply doesn't have time to consider romance. Spanish American War Veteran Sergeant Major Ramsay Stiles also isn't looking for love, busy with his own complicated affairs. But as the magic of Yellowstone starts making its way into their hearts, both begin to see love move up their priority list.

My Review:
Carla Kelly did it again, her writing style truly transports you in time- this time to Yellowstone in the early 1900's.  Sergeant Major Ramsay Stiles survived and became a hero during his deployment in the Philippines, now he has returned to duty helping protect the natural wonders and the tourists who come to see Yellowstone.  When his commander jokingly commands him to get married, he wonders how that will be possible.  This book made me long to return to Yellowstone to see the "Wonderland" as it was nicknamed back then.  Carla does a great job of painting the picture of what Yellowstone was like back at the turn of the century.  The story is fast paced and heart warming and really just an enjoyable fun easy read.  I have read several of Carla Kelly's books and have loved them all, I love how she transports you in time and shares a fun clean story that leaves you smiling.
