I love it when Alex does this...
But I don't really like it when she does this...
On every single key.
Lots of washing/scrubbing
(about 20 minutes worth)

And all is well again.

How is your Monday?

Don't forget to write about what funny/embarrassing thing you did in your youth for tomorrow!

  1. try wipes they clean things like that up quick and little fingers can help without using harsh chemicals.

  2. I frequently find tiny little drawings around the house in odd places - like under tables etc. Pencil not too bad..try hand gel for the ink..works wonders. I would make it a game I guess. When the door jams get icky here..I pull out the babywipes and as soon as the preschoolers see me cleaning.. they wanna too - more hands less work. They love it and feel like they are big helpers!! Hang in there!! Sarah

  3. That is so frustrating! I have had that happen before too. (With my piano.) She will learn, one day...

  4. Oh dear! That would be a bother. I'm glad all it well. Kids are cute but they sure try one's patience don't they?!

  6. Wipes or the magic eraser would be my suggestion. My Monday??? Not too bad, not at least compared to the way yours started out. haha.

  7. Hey, that looks like my piano. And I'll bet there are plenty of other pianos out there that share the mark of a child.

  9. Your posts always make me smile an nod my head -- both pictures are priceless. LOVE the first one especially.

Today, while I was packing, Bekah and her little friend destroyed my makeup by decorating their faces... They got the basic idea, but execution was a little off with the mascara on their eyebrows and INSIDE their eyes. I can't even identify what was in their hair...

Oh -- and Bekah also managed to color her ENTIRE left arm with magic marker...

    Not my best mothering day...

  11. Yeah, I think my name is carved into my mom's piano. So, at least you CAN wipe the pen off!
