Valentines Day Dinner Preparation

Are you ready for Valentines Day?  I will be making my trip to the dollar store tomorrow to get ready for our Fancy Family Valentine's Dinner. The kids totally look forward to this day and then Eric and I will go out to celebrate on a different night when the restaurants aren't so crazy busy.  Here's some inspiration from our previous dinners to help you get ready- click on the links to see more details.

Come back tomorrow for Friday 5- it will be a linky for the first time, sharing 5 thoughts and 5 pictures from the week.

  3. I love your tables! We are laid back with Valentine's Day. Small treats for the kids. Sent a card with my husband who will be out of town. :(

  5. Your table decorations are great! We do something similar (although not so fancy :)) were we get take out and spend the night as a family. It's about spending the time with those we love and that totally includes the kids.

  7. Love the table decorations! We're really low key for Valentine's Day. We get heart shaped pizza and watch a gangster movie every year. This year, my daughter is old enough for her own movie night and she's really excited. So, it'll be family movie night and then after her bedtime, we'll watch our movie. Not romantic, but it works for us!

    1. That does sound like a simple but very nice night and a tradition that your daughter obviously likes which is what matters most

  8. I love your decorations, especially 2013! What a fun tradition. My husband and I usually spend the evening at home relaxing, eating a great meal, and drinking some wine. P.S. I'm in your SITS Girls Tribe:)
